Description:
State of Soma is an up and coming alternative rock band from Hampstead, Maryland. Formed in March 2003, State of Soma is the next best thing to come out of the greater Baltimore Maryland area. State of Soma has a sound that the band members themselves have a difficult time describing. Drawn upon the influences of early annd current British rock along with mainstream American acts, State of Soma is known to take a listener ad whip them into a frenzied state of mind. Captivating lyrics, passionate guitar playing and a solid rhythm is what you can expect to hear in State of Soma's music. State of Soma are currently playing in the Balitmore, Maryland area and plan to expand to the DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania area shortly.
