Description:
16 Years of Grace? Who are they? Five people, different musical backgrounds and tastes creating a sonically melodic feel to Rock ‘n Roll. Expect with the catchiness of the lyrics and roller coaster ride of bass, drums and guitars to be thoroughly entertained. Their line-up: Paul Briggette - Drums, Jaime Gallery - lead vocals, Greg Collins - Bass and backing vocals, Rick Collins – Guitar and backing vocals with Jeff Briggette also on guitar. They have earned respect and fans with great shows at many local venues and with dozens of New England Area Rockers. Fantastic performances include, but are not just for as any fan would know, Boston’s Hard Rock CafĂ©, coming in first place for A Shot at the Cabo Wabo sponsored by WAAF and second place for the Rolling Rock Road to the Towne Fair for Towne Fair 3.3 sponsored by WFNX. They have been featured on former WAAF DJ Jay Ferrera’s Local Focus Wednesday, they have gotten rave reviews and lots more attention for their participation in this year’s Locobazooka XI and they came in 2nd for WAAF & H2O’s Battle of the Bands. They have also been filmed for a CT music television cable access show Bands on the Road. The CD can be found at Newbury Comics locations in the Boston Area or go to the website, where merchandise can be ordered, also. You can request to hear them on Local Music shows from radio stations: WAAF (Bay State Rock, Sundays from 9-10 pm or ANYTIME Monday through Friday.), WFNX (Local Product, Sundays 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.), WBCN (Boston Emissions, Sundays 10 p.m.) WSCW (Anytime, it’s College Radio) and WHJY (Soundcheck, Sundays 11 p.m. to Midnight) as well as aine.aiiradio.com. Band Members:
Paul Briggette, Drums Strictly a Ludwig drummer, owning two sets, and several snare drums. Paul started playing drums at age 9 with a snare drum and cymbal, in a jazz trio with his dad in their basement. He had his first original band at age 15 playing Jr. High and church dances. His favorite bands oddly enough are guitar-based bands like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Van Halen. Paul loves hard rock of any era, a drummer who wishes he played guitar but he does have his favorite drummers John Bonham, Tommy Aldridge, and Frank Shooshan (his former teacher). Other favorites: Happy women, Gibson guitars, Largemouth bass, Beer, Corvettes, Ludwig Vistalites, Gigs, people without egos, and a groove you can't ignore.

Jeff Briggette, Rhythm Guitar One of the two guitar players in 16 Years of Grace, Jeff has been playing guitar for about 12 years and enjoys it, tremendously. Jeff's musical influences range from Led Zeppelin to Motown, he constantly tries to incorporate these influences in his music with 16 Years of Grace. How does he do it, what equipment is used for the exciting blend of musical influences? Jeff uses a Gibson Les Paul guitar, Marshall JCM 2000 TSL amplifier and Boss FX pedals.

Jaime Gallery, Vocals Jaime comes from an eclectic background of music and dance; her current roll in 16 Years of Grace fits her like her favorite glove. Jaime has done musical theatre, performed on the Spirit of Boston and danced in multiple shows. She also has collaborated with well-known Boston local band TREE and up and coming National Act ONE. Although she is proud of her background nothing gives her more pleasure then writing and performing her own music along side the rest of 16 Years. She has been heard saying, “there’s nothing better then getting up on stage, performing your own stuff and having complete strangers lovin’ it, well, one thing may be better and that’s getting loads of cash for it.”

Greg Collins, Bass & Backing Vocals Greg was the newest edition to 16 Years of Grace. Growing up in a household filled with classical music and easy listening garbage, Greg Collins was the kid in the Twisted Sister video. Banished to his basement for his love of Stryper and Cinderella, Greg picked up the guitar at an early age and rocked out to every hair band on the planet. This gave him an atrocious wardrobe and a lot of beatings on the playground, but did make him one hell of a guitar player. Eventually Greg's hair got too long and kept getting caught in the guitar strings, so Greg made the move to Bass and hasn't put it down since. Like everyone else in the 90s, he eventually cut his hair and rocked out to the likes of Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, and even a little Snoop Doggy Dogg to keep it real. With over 20 years of guitar/bass playing under his belt, he is the man (well that's what he tells himself)!!!! Feel free to approach him for a conversation, just make sure that you are a hot chic or you have a beer in your hand for him ... Hot chic's with a beer in there hand will get special attention …

Rick Collins, Guitar & Backing Vocals No one’s really sure what to make of him.
