Description:
A distinctive name with a distinctive sound, Lezayr takes true alternative rock, and infuses it with a Latin flare. Their music will remind us all of the day when 'REAL' shows like "Friends" ruled the television, and 'REAL' musicians ruled the stage. Their sound is reminiscent of 90’s alternative groups, such as Gin Blossoms, Vertical Horizon, Soul Asylum, and the Goo Goo Dolls. Mix in some Spanish Rock and lyrics in both Spanish and English, and you have the future of todays 'REAL' alternative music. Band Members:
Lezayr began as a project and artistic outlet for lead singer, Alex Ayala, in Guadalajara Mexico. Initially the project’s purpose was to collaborate with various musicians and experiment with different music stylings. Then, in 2002, Alex began creating his own sound, turning his poetry into lyrics, and his guitar in to a powerful force would later be responsible for original sound of Lezayr. Today the group has shared the stage with many well-known bands like, DLD, Elefante, and Zoe, to name a few.
