Description:
Zak Smith plays an Americana influenced type of rock music with a heavy focus on the lyrical content. Joe Strummer of the Clash, Leonard Cohen and Elvis Costello can all be heard in the words, and Van Morrison, Neil Young and Bob Seger can all be heard in the music. In addition to that there is a heavy influence of the soul music call and response type interaction between Zak and his backup singers, along the lines of Ray Charles and the Raelettes and other similar gospel influenced groups.

Zak Smith plays guitar and sings and writes the songs. Gavi Grodsky plays lead and rhythym guitar. Keith Robinson plays drums. Dave Smith plays bass. Jessica Labus sings backup.
