Left Hand Jack is a professional alternative hard rock band from Richmond, Virginia. With their melodic vocals, aggressive guitars and solid rhythm section, they perform selective, alternative rock to modern rock hits from the 90’s to today that are chart-topping and easily recognizable. The band performs memorable performances that differentiate themselves from other rock cover bands in the region.
The band delivers powerful live performances with high-energy stage presence, musical & vocal accuracy and selective song selections that captivate their audience’s attention. Each live performance incorporates new, fresh song material, as they thrive to keep their audiences attention by allowing them to have a new, great experiences at each live performance.

Band Members:
Left Hand Jack was formed in 2010 in Richmond, Virginia. Each member of Left Hand Jack is a seasoned professional musician having extensive experience in live performance, with many members also having professional recording & touring experience.
Prior to forming Left Hand Jack, drummer Eddie Lee played for various cover & original music bands the Richmond, Virginia area, and notably with the alternative metal band Human Zoo from Columbia, South Carolina, who released three albums and was signed to Arch Records in the 90's. Bassist Brian Temples played for several popular bands from the Charlottesville, VA area, was also signed to a record label and toured with some of the most popular national artists throughout his professional music career. Lead vocalist Rick Kirby led vocals for the popular local Richmond, VA bands Calling Monroe and Head on Collision. Guitarist Bill Dirr also played with several local Richmond bands before joining the LHJ lineup.
With the current LHJ lineup, the band is stronger than ever, and is currently booking shows in the Greater Richmond area and throughout the region.
