Description:
Out of the love for Exotica, Country-Western and Blues comes the music of the Tiki Cowboys! We are the perfect band for your Private Party, Street Fest, Luau, Boat Bash, BBQ, Tenant Appreciation Party, or any event that requires laid back and fun music. Cowboy hats, Hawaiian shirts, and drinks with little umbrellas in them is what our music is all about. The band's musical influences range from the classic country of Hank Williams, to Hawaiian music by Don Ho, and rooted with Chicago Blues legends like Howlin' Wolf. Together these influences combine for the Tiki Cowboys to create a Rural, Tropical, Urban music experience that crosses music genre lines unlike any other band.
Band Members:
Band leader Eric "Baron" Behrenfeld is a drummer, percussion and ukulele musician working with long time blues brudduhs Brian "BK" Read (guitar and vocals) and Warren Lathan (bass). The band is a cast of well seasoned veterans of Chicago's music scene, coming out of the ranks as first call sidemen to form their own unique band, the Tiki Cowboys.
