Myth Not Man is a four-piece Metal group out of the Detroit area that have a single-minded mission to breathe new life into the Detroit metal scene. They combine a heavy, grinding guitar style that meets an edgy and intense vocal sound that will draw the listener into the light of reality only after running you through your own darker experiences. All of this is grounded with the heart that drives in the rhythm section. Pulsing, groove-driven drums and a bass sound that can only be likened to musical thunder, Myth Not Man will show you what metal should be! No scream-o here - this is pure, intense, real, groove metal! Be sure to catch a Myth Not Man show...live is an experience to be had!!! Steve Anthony - Vocals: I started in music by asking for a guitar for Christmas one year, quite some time ago, and got my wish. Over the years I've migrated between everything from guitar, to keyboard, to bass, to drums, but the only two that stuck were guitar and keys. Thinking I'd reached my musical plateau, MNM needed a voice for the noise and I stepped up to the plate. I've been singing with MNM for going on 3 years now, and feel I've finally found my calling. Looking back on all of the bashfulness that kept me from a front man position seems to make no sense to me anymore. This is where I can learn, grow, and ultimately be heard. I am home!
J.T. - Bass: I hit the stage my first time at Blondie's when I was 15. I have traveled the club scene ever since. I have to play loud so I can feel the bass hitting my back on stage. I'm the jokester of the band. I was the last addition to the MNM lineup but I promise the loyal fans that u will not be let down.
Joey Davis - Guitar/Vocals: I was 13 years old and got my first electric guitar, standing in a mirror mimicking my favorite guitarists such as Ace Frehley, kirk hammot and later down the road the great Dimbag Darrell these incredible artists are what made me who i am today. It has been an honor to take the stage with my brothers and play in front of all who have seen us. I have had the honor of sharing the stage with a lot of great bands, on some of the grandest stages of all. it is beyond a dream and i owe it all to the Myth Not Man fans for making a dream come true, a special thanks to Mike ,JT ,Steve and our manager Ray ,for giving me the confidence to keep me melting your hearts and faces
Mike Pack - Drums: After playing live for over 10 years, I decided to take a break to rethink and retool, to step in with a heavy groove oriented style of music. I started playing at age 14 and played live from 18 to 28. At that point I was searching for something unique that combined all of the music I listened to and loved from my heart. With the combined efforts of myself Joey, J.T. and Steve Anthony I have found a safe musical haven that has allowed me to be the true thundering force I have always wanted to be.
