Description:
The band was formed in 2009 by Seth Cordrey and Patrick Liberatore. Initially, Cordrey and Liberatore had begun discussions of forming a Metal Band in the Bear, Delaware area. In October 2009 and after some discussions with potential members, they completed the lineup. Danny Scythes/Lead Vocalist, Seth Cordrey /Guitarist, Ross Elliot/Guitarist, Dan Boyle/Bassist, Patrick Liberatore/Drums. The band worked out its name “Saving October” and begun to develop that edgy screamo metal sound with an emphasis on breakdowns that is so popular in today’s music industry. The band is very energetic and draws its fans in while on stage. Some band members; Ross (Formerly of Sight for Spring Eyes and I am the Sunset ), Patrick (Formerly of 2FT Whore) and Dan (Formerly of Sight for Spring Eyes) have several live show and recording experience under their belts. Saving October entered Project Unity Productions, Wilmington, De. in January 2010 under the direction of a Booking Agent & Stylist Harry Mazio. They completed a 4 song EP that has received positive reviews, completed the initial photo shoot and set up the myspace account. Band merchandise is completed with 1 shirt and the EP will be out for sale soon. In 2010, the band kicked off its inaugural tour at SINIX, Baltimore, Md. A CD release party will be held at the Harmony Grange, Wilmington De. in the near future. They have written 7 original metal core tunes and continues to write music.

Scythes is the bands front man and writes the bands lyrics .Scythes is very energetic and works well with the other band members and keeps things interesting for the fans. Scythes loves the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles. He feels he is down to earth and loves making the best of every situation.

Cordrey is one of the founding members of Saving October. He has been playing for about 5 years. Cordrey believes music is the remedy for all things. His main focus with music are crisp breakdowns and edgier screamo sounds for the band Cordrey is a easy going guy that wants to produce original music and is majoring in graphic design in a De. college.

Boyle is formerly from “A Sight for Spring Eyes” Boyles is an enthusiastic bassist and is willing to add a slightly jazzy sound to an already interesting style that Saving October will bring to the table He is a very laid back guy who is willing to bring whatever is needed to be successful in the industry.

Elliott is formerly from “A Sight for Spring Eyes” and “ I am the Sunset”. Ross is an eager musician who wants to take Saving October to the next level. He is a very talented musician who can also play wind instrument ( Saxophone) and Piano. Elliott has been credited for being an All State musician.
Name: Patrick Liberatore/Drummer DOB: 10-20-90 Influences: Madina Lake Quote: “How many licks does it take to get to the center of my tootsie roll pop”
Liberatore is one of the founding members of Saving October. Formerly the drummer of 2Ft. Whore, Exton Md. He has professionally recorded and is the drummer credited for 2 songs that hit compilation CD’s worldwide (Versailles Records) with 2 Ft Whore (She Lies and Jigsaw) His drumming style presents an edgier sound for the band and opens the door for many grind core original tunes. He was a freelance drummer playing for several Delaware Bands. Liberatore also had the pleasure of working with a band who opened for “Sound the Alarm” and “Toyko Rose”. Both are major recording artists. Liberatore is currently a Mass Communications major at a Maryland College.
