In late February 2008, SBS found a new bass player, Rich Barrow, and began writing new music that was true to the heart, spirit and soul of SBS. "We started from scratch but kept the name the same" Kroenung said.

Shortly after regrouping, SBS went into Trailer Studios who have produced new bands such as Cavo, Modern Day Zero and Brookroyal and recorded a three-song demo. SUNDAY BUT SUMMER has grown from this experience and has had the opportunity to play at The Pageant, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and Pop’s Night Club. SBS has shared the stage with Shinedown, Killswitch Engage, Coheed & Cambria, Finger Eleven, 10 Years, RED, Theory of a Deadman, and many more.

In the winter of 2009, SUNDAY BUT SUMMER returned to Trailer Studio with a clear focus and the drive to complete their best work yet. In May of 2009, the "Fade to Grey” EP was released. Fade to Grey can be found on iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, Slackers and Vintage Vinyl. Since the 2009 release, The SBS audience has grown and the band has continued to share the stage with bands such as The Offspring, Chevelle, Ludo, Blue October, Breaking Benjamin, and Cavo. SUNDAY BUT SUMMER is moving at a very fast pace, at a very young age, to become what every musician dreams of becoming!
