After forming in Fall 2008, The Dirty Flaggs have ambitiously taken on the Columbus music scene, quickly gathering a strong and devoted local fan base. With a “leave your ego at the door” policy, The Dirty Flaggs embrace their music and fans with passion.
Finding uniqueness in the song writing talents of front men/guitarists Chad Meiring and Andrew Murray (originally from Durban, South Africa), The Dirty Flaggs’ ability to evolve promises to prove they are an up and coming band who’s not afraid to push the boundaries of their alternative rock/melodic pop genre.
In a year’s time, they have played notable Columbus venues such as Skully’s Music Diner and The Basement (www.promowestlive.com) and plan on branching out to the rest of the nation starting Spring 2010. In October, they will be playing with national act The Von Bondies at BoMA (Columbus, OH) for a show benefi tting Autism Speaks.
