Dogghouse

Originated in 2000 by Scott K. Since then DOGG HOUSE has went through a few member changes and is once again back on track with an even more solid cast of seasoned musicains with a ton of band and stage experience from various parts of w.n.y. and other local acts. While Dogg House does covers mainly in the genre of Rock they have been known to do pop,easy listening, reggae, alternative,grunge just to name a few. Always adding new material to the list one never knows what's next. Some Originals are in the works for the near future. Their promise is to be a crowd pleaser doing covers of many popular songs and artists from the 60's to the present. You WON'T be disappointed.

Member’s Bio’s

Scott: Was also a member of a local act named Tier before forming Dogg House. He’s been playing guitar for approximately 20 some years.

Frank: Is the newest member of Dogg House. He is also presently with a cover band named STRETCH.

He has a ton of experience playing guitar, singing back up and/or leads and stage experience. His last known band before Stretch was Broadside back in the early 70’s.

Chris: Has been playing Bass for over 20 years. He was also a member of Tier. In 2002 Chris was part of the local band Cohencide whom were awarded the Best New Rock Band sponsored by the Night-Life Magazine in that same year. Chris has played in other local project known as the Release and Ron Rocco's 9 lives to mention a few. Chris recently finished 2 contracts with Royal Carribean Cruise lines and played in several ports as well as on board. Some National Acts he filled–in with are Bowser from Sha nan na, Dominick Allen from Forgeiner and Bobby Arvon. Other bands he has been in

Dave: Was also a member of Tier and the early stages of Dogg House. Presently Dave is the Lead Singer for both Dogg House and Dark Water.

Dave has been singing for well over 20 years winning awards for his voice while in school. Dave has taken some vocals lessons through the years and continues to on occasion. Dave says "I enjoy what I do and will continue to do so until I no longer can. It’s been a fun ride and would not change a thing". Another talent Dave has is he is a "Crowd Getter" which to us is critical. He can work a crowd no matter what their mood. Dave also adds " I have met so many wonderful people and made some great friends along the way. All I can say is look out for the next 20 years." Dave can be an act in himself with his comic attitude.

?Mark: Has been playing drums for approx. 30 years being part of the w.n.y. music circuit for a good portion of them. His stage experience started at age 14. Mark is for the most part a self taught drummer. While his heart is into playing various styles of Rock he also has a wide variety of playing other styles/genres of music that he’s been involved with throughout the years. Mark was the founder of a couple former local bands back in the early 80’s being Bad Attitude and then in 2000 co-founded S.O.L. Both bands were nominated for Best New Rock Band at the WNY Buffalo Music Awards sponsored by the Night-Life Magazine. Since then he has filled in with various bands from both Canada and the U.S.. While living in Canada he was a fill-in with Frosted White, Assorted Nuts, Why B Normal & was briefly the drummer of 4Play from St. Catherine’s. In the U.S. he has worked with Passion Works, SKY, Dark Water and is presently with STRETCH & Dogg House.
