Description:
4 piece dance band that has been around for about 15 years in many formations. Currently they play locally for a 75 mile radius. They have opened collectively for such acts as:Asleep at the Wheel,Bellamy Bros.,Narvel Felts,Dan Seals,Daryl Singletary,Jeff Carson,Rhett Akins,Judge Parker, to name a few.They also have originals that they do in their shows. They are currently asigned artist with Moiko records and can be located on a number of sites maintained by one of the members.All 4 members have been playing music most of their lives. Mostly country,they also play southern and classic rock and some blues.
Band Members:
Duane Hoppis : lead guitar and vocals. He is the one member who has been a constant with KKB. Kickin' Kountry Band is and will always be his band. Russell Joyner: rhythm guitar and vocals. He is a member of BMI as a songwriter and has written songs for the band.He shares lead vocals w/Duane. J. R. Massengale: bass guitar. He has played bass as well as guitar for many bands for many years and is a very talented musician. Ronda Harp: percussions. She has played drums for many years and is a seasoned musician. She also sings lead and harmony with KKB.
