Description:
Emerging from the cesspool known as Philadelphia, MyParasites forced their way into the Industrial scene in 2004 with their debut album,"Emotional Starvation". combining elements of Industrial, screamo, and Terror EBM, through intense experimentation, collaborations, touring, remixing, and overcoming criticism, MyParasites evolved into a mechanical blending of pure withdrawn emotion, along side a parasitic sound that is unlike any other. In early 2007 MyParasites remixed "Cumhog" made famous by the band "Ninetwelve" and plastered it everywhere, playing it at live shows, bringing forth cheering singalongs, incantations, chanting and a new respect for women. Each song's structures are uniquely formed applying assonance, rhyming, metaphors, alliterative verses, and combining styles and techniques, while also writing lyrics concerning trust, lies, adultery, infidelity, to cumhogs, backstabbers, sex, deceit, insecurities, murder, rape, cheating, and misogyny, MyParasites brings a new sincere evaluation and opinion of life's surroundings that many can relate to. Utilizing a disarray of electronics, samplers, synthesizers, guitars, electronic drums, angle grinders, midi controllers, and various other noize induced equipment, MyParasites assaults the stage, dominating the venue, with a terrifying, yet awe-inspiring live performance. Performances have ended with band members hospitalized, imprisoned, and kicked out of venues. Our diversity is what drives us, The fans continue to support the act, bringing more and more people to each event. Hard, fast pulsating drums, catchy synths, intricate glitching, sampling, condemning lyrics that almost anyone can relate to and sing along to, harsh electronic mechanical beats, concepts, complex sequencing, all define Myparasites' sound, producing a bevy of sludgy anthems. With standout tracks like "Now Function", "Everytime we Fuckk", and "Emotional Starvation", MyParasites is an essential addition to any music lover's library. Splicing together concepts of tragic recollections, and genuine personal anguish, MyParasites snaps back at society with a vindictive, unforgiving display of raw emotions, a vivid hatred for women, erupting a severe reinaction of previous incidents and screaming agonizing memories.
