Description:
Hero's for Hire is a three piece pop/punk/alternative organization that had its start when a girl broke Charles Diamond's (guitar/vocals) heart. A young strapping fellow who was still in his caterpillar stage was not too good with the girls. They considered him to be a dork, which he was. His last year of high school found him with a girl friend who dumped him after one week. Saying, “They didn’t spend enough time together”. Luck would find him on the basement floor with teary eyes listening to love songs in his underwear. Being a musician he wrote a song to fight the hurt inside. This song became known as, “The Whore Song”. Charles quickly began playing with long time school friend Vince Caiafa (Drums). But they needed a bass player. Who could better fit the job then the craziest kid in school, Dave Morris, a.k.a. Moose. After a speedy gang like initiation David was apart of the band. Horrible luck with girls, fun times with friends, and a unified hate of authority or adults brought the band together and was the basis for their earlier work. 2004-2008 found Vince in Boston at the Berklee College of Music. Harsh resent between him and Charlie ended the band for the time being. Yet fate brought the three back together in 2008 to rock basements across the country!
