Band Members:
Michael(Happy Fat)Gilbert (lead vocals & lead guitar & bass guitar) has been playing in and around Abilene for at least 30 years. Lost his permanent job at Abilene State School due to a shoulder injury, and now plays about 4 solo gigs a week plus w/the band on weekends. He is also married to his best friend, Amy.
Jimmy Roberts (drums) has got to be the best shuffle drummer I have ever heard. When we got together about three years ago it was like magic. Jimmy teaches school in Sweetwater, Texas while his wife , Kim, works as a nurse at Abilene Regional.
My name is Ronnie Kendrick (bass guitar & keyboards)and have been playing in Texas bands since the age of 17. I am the Assistant Mgr. of a large Automotive Paint & Body Shop for 35 Years and and married to my beautiful wife, Phyllis, who teaches school here in Abilene.
I have lived in Texas all my life, but Happy is from Oklahoma, and Jimmy is from Indiana.
