Description:
What happens when you combine one part Unshrunk and 5 parts Letters? You get post-hardcore/rock band The Grand Atlantic. Depending on your age, or when you started attending Salem shows, you may remember hardcore/metal act "Unshrunk" (or possibly Morgan La Fey for others). Or for some of you, it may have been post-hardcore/indie rock band Letters. These local boys know a few things about music and performance and they show that in their live performance. Mixing heavy breakdowns (aka The Devil Wears Prada), low growls (i.e.-Unshrunk/Zao) and an on-stage light show that makes for any good show. We are currently in the studio (8/5/07), working on our debut DIY release.
We have had the opportunity to play with: Run Kid Run (Tooth And Nail), The Send(Tooth And Nail), A Dream Too Late(Tooth And Nail), Search The City(Tooth And Nail), Tysen, From Aphony, Fallstar, Upon Beauty Rests, A Hope For Home, The Real You, Kane Hodder (Fueled By Ramen), Ameretta, One Sided, The Roe, Agape, Cavalier, A Pedestrian Life, Kill Your Ex (Mediaskare), All Teeth (Bound By The Black Rag), Moneta, Heros Die Trying, The Sharktopus, In Her Memory, and many more local/touring bands.
