TOKE BROTHERS NEWSLETTER SEPTEMBER 2011
Hello Tokesters and Tokettes, Can’t believe it, but fall is just around the corner. Summer provided a great start for the Toke Brothers “ Come back ” tour!
We got to play at Stubbies, Farmers Hope inn, The Caribbean Inn, Mick’s All American Pub, Zia Maria and Prudhommes Lost Cajun Kitchen. We video taped some of the gigs and you’ll find many of these tunes on youtube ! During August, the band returned to the Toke Studios to work on some new material.
NEW TUNES !
I’m really sure you’ll love some of the tunes by Hootie and the Blowfish, Springsteen, REM, Ramones, Gin Blossims and the Plain White Tees. We are also working on some Talking Heads and Duncan Sheik! We love to keep it fresh , at the same time you can count on hearing favorites by Billy Joel, Neil Young, Jimmy Buffet and the Grateful Dead!
COMING UP GIGS:
September 2 finds us at Bubes Brewery, Mount Joy.
September 10 we gig at D&S Brasserie, Lancaster.
September 16 we are out on the deck at Zia Maria, Denver.
September 30 we will be stirring up the crowd at the Caribbean Inn , Manheim.

Looking further into the fall we will playing at Prudhommes, the Lucky Dog, Beannies Tavern, the Bull Frog Inn as well as returning to the Caribbean, Zia’s, The Brasserie and Bubes Brewery.
