Description:
Welcome Friends... The Stage Junkies are the latest music installment of the Vires brothers. Spike and Phil have a long history of song writing endeavors, most recently R-gang. Phil just came off a stint with a great local Detroit Rock n Roll band My Secret Life. This new project came after a eight-year absence from writing together. A huge wave of music and songwriting ideas came pouring in after Phil payed a visit to the Orlando music scene. Coming back, armed and ready to write, the brothers resumed. The music, based in rock, has many extensions in it's format with everyone's personality and influences making their way into the tunes. Pulled out of retirement, Joe Goleski became a solid piece of the puzzle with his drumming skills and taking the next step adding great lyrics and arrangement development. Chris Rea, a 20 year drum teacher, and hired gun for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Chris turned his attention to percussion for the new project adding texture to the music that rounds out the style and sound of the Stage Junkies.
