In early 2005 in the ashes of many other bands they had each seen crash and burn, guitarist Rick Jackson, guitarist/vocalist Jamie Lane, Bassist/vocalist Bryan Kelly and drummer Del Hall came together for the first time in a collective soup of talent. Almost as soon as they struck their first chords together they felt a chemical reaction that none of them had ever experienced before. Right away they knew it was something extraordinary. The musicianship was tight and the music seemed to just flow out as if they had been born to play together. The vocal styles of Bryan Kelly and Jamie Lane meld together like the two voices where designed to harmonize with each other. Toss in some fills by drummer Del Hall and some screamin guitar leads by Rick Jackson and the recipe creates magic that your ears can appreciate. Now appropriately named "After the Ashes", the band is made up of remnants of such phenomenal bands as Six Foot Soul, DUST, Dunahmus and Far From Over and is the product of years of live experience and touring. With over 14 studio albums between them, they have had occasion to share the stage with some of the biggest names in music including: Skid Row, Vince Neil, Anthrax, Def Leppard, Sebastian Bach, Dark New Day, Jackyl, Stuck Mojo, Slaughter, Ted Nugent, Warrant, Bret Michaels, Quiet Riot and many more. Their unparalleled attitude and energetic live performance has created a rabid following of fans with simple word of mouth alone. After the Ashes looks forward to the release of their debut c.d. this winter and plans are in the making for a spring/summer tour of the United States. The evolution has begun...

Jamie Lane ~ Vocals/Guitars
Singer and rhythm guitar player Jamie Lane knew at an early age music was his calling. Idolizing the likes of KISS, Queen, The Rolling Stones and eventually Motley Crue, Jamie started searching for a band in his early teens. Discouraged due to the lack of musicians in the area, he started sneaking into clubs on the local rock scene. Though he had only been playing guitar, The urge to be on stage honing his skills eventually led him to accept a spot singing in a local band which needed a vocalist. And thus the journey began…. Stints with bands such as Montage’, Pain Station and Six Foot Soul, he developed a style and presence that has earned him a reputation as one of the most energetic guitarist/vocalists in Flints music scene since the likes of the Grand Funk Railroad era and now, fifteen years later, Jamie finds himself with his first record deal. The dream of a child becomes the dream of a man, and the journey to stardom starts now. Devout devotion and the love of music drive this singer each and every day. Please come and let him share his dream with you.

Rick Jackson ~ Guitars
Growing up in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. Rick began playing guitar at age 18. After spending a couple of years perfecting his craft, he began playing with local area Detroit bands such as Outcast and Sudden Rush. Rick then took several years off to spend time with his family and relocate to Flint, Michigan. Rick’s love of music never took him totally out of the music scene and before long found himself showing his musical prowess in local Flint bands such as Dunahmus, Prime8Logic and Luna Black, which also included ATA bassist/vocalist, Bryan Kelly. After forming ATA, Rick immediately knew this was the project he had long been looking for. Rick’s influences include guitar greats such as Eddie Van Halen, Dimebag Darrell and Zakk Wylde. Combining his musical style with the other members of ATA was a perfect match to pursue his musical dreams.

Del Hall ~ Percussion
Del, from Flint, MI started annoying his parents at an early age banging on pots and pans. His parents decided to buy him a drum set for Christmas in 1976. Granted, it was a Mickey Mouse set, but it was something for him to get started. After a few months he lost interest, and nobody knows what happened to the drum set. At the age of 11, he saw his first Motley Crue video (Looks That Kill) and after seeing Tommy Lee play, he had found his calling. After begging for another kit his father ((Delano Hall SR) R.I.P)) decided to give him another opportunity to live out his musical interests. Del was re-inspired when he received his first real kit. His dedication was playing to the radio going to and from school and daydreaming all day about playing his set. “My father let me play anytime I wanted, even if it was 3am,” Del stated. To this day he has never looked back. His passion for music and playing the drums definitely shows if you have ever seen him live. Del’s influences and heroes include, The Rolling Stones to contemporary artists such as Seven Dust. His influences include Tommy Lee, Tommy Aldridge, Neal Pert, Morgan Rose and Will Hunt. Audiences are captivated by the power and energy Del summons behind his drum set. His thunderous beats bring the crowd to a roar. The dedication Del gives to his craft has made him a well known name in his home town and other nearby cities. With previous bands that include, Knuckle Head, Dead to the World, Kemikal Down and Six Foot Soul, Del has smashing riffs and continues on this path with After the Ashes. The intensity he brings to the band is shown on stage and in the music. Del’s creativity and talent is in each song preformed, as an explosive power drummer, he has proven to be a force in the rock scene.
