Description:
Luna Mantra delivers an innovative, exciting and extremely danceable live performance. Jazz, flamenco, gypsy, bossa nova, bluegrass, tango, and reggae influence the Pensacola, Florida based progressive world fusion trio, who infuse spanish guitar and gypsy violin with world beat/jazz fusion rhythms. Luna Mantra features the talents of brothers Michael Kinser (guitar) and Joshua Kinser (drums/percussion), and virtuoso Will Fink (violin/flute).
2005 looks promising for the Floridian trio, with a commission from the Ballet Pensacola, a southeast U.S. spring tour, a 26 city U.S. summer tour, a prospective Scandinavian summer tour, and the release of their highly anticipated second independent studio recording.
Luna Mantra has performed regional festivals, universities, art museums, theaters, art centers, restaurants, pubs, beach bars, weddings, and private parties. The trio has shared the stage with The Wailers, MOFRO, & DJ Logic.
