From the onset the fiddle sears the air and blossoms in the ears The hard funk beat moves the body, the drums driving the feel Feet and arms fly with counter beats circling the primary beat Staccato sounds flourish and transform into a legato swim of notes
Strories twist and turn into lyrics, absurdities are shouted in the mic Militant rhythms push along the great joke The bodies move closer to the stage to see this strange thing playing Something so new, so connected to the vibe
In short, Back Forty is an eclectic mix of heartfelt melody Spicy hard rocking, jazz drumming Super funk and smooth bass, virtuoso psychedelic fiddle lines intertwining chord progressions
