Description:
Bop 'n' Bowl is a monthly roots music fest that takes place in a 1960-vintage duckpin bowling alley! Bands play and up to 450 folks listen, dance, bowl, eat hotdogs and hamburgers and drink beer! There's 32 lanes, and bowling is included in the cover charge of $12.00! Music centers on rockabilly, but includes great R & B, surf, garage rock, cajun/zydeco, honky-tonk country, alt.country, even space-age bachelor pad! In the year-and-a-half-plus that this has been going on, mostly local bands have played, but in addition to bands from as far away as Pennsylvania and Richmond, VA, we've had such folks as Rosie Flores and Bill Kirchen appear! We welcome touring bands!
