The Static Lounge, DownTown San Diego's ONLY 18+ venue is having a battle of the bands...the prize being,enough studio time to lay down an entire album AND a gig at the house of blues! The battle commences February 11th, and will go on each Monday, thereafter for 8 weeks, a winner will be picked at the end of each night and they will be going through to the final where 8 bands will compete. it is being judged on the important stuff Creativity Tightness Stage presence Originality Crowd Reaction there are some really good local bands out there and to many battles are judged on number of fans, we say...fuck that!
