| Comments: | This is an excellent CD that demonstrates the vocal and musical versatility of City Limits Band. The four original songs are exceptional - especially Superman (In A Stetson Hat). City Limits definitely puts their own signature sound on the cover tunes. One of my favorites is My Maria - I like the CLB version better than either the original (BW Stevenson) or the Brooks and Dunn cover. The fiddle playing on Talk To Me Fiddle and Devil Went Down to Georgia is awesome. Love the harmony on Seven Bridges Road. CLB's version of American Trilogy gives me chills! I enjoy all the songs on this CD - and how refreshing to have four different vocalists perform! Definitely 5 stars! |
