Band Members:
Chip Evans (Lead Guitar, Bass, Vocals) and Nick Rosendahl (Drums, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals) are both founding members of The Cave Band, one of Iowa's premiere classic rock bands. Chips blazing leads and brilliant progressions leap out at you on the new cd, and though Nicks percussion skills are on par with the best in the business, so far he hasn't aspirated and drowned in his own vomit. He may be a keeper... Eric Josephson (Bass, Banjo, Keyboard, Vocals)is also with critically acclaimed Chronic Bliss, a power alt-rock band from Lincoln, Nebraska. Our newest member, Fred Merrick (Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals) comes from the Tri-States area of the East Coast, where he played Clubs, Shows, Sessions and Shitholes for 33 years until the white Stratocaster in his hands became an extension of himself, a living thing played like a lightning strike from a clear blue sky. Dago (Songwriter, Lead Vocals, Piano, Synth and Rhythm Guitar) began writing songs just over 4 years ago, but the first time you hear the depth and meaning of his lyrics you'll know he was born to it. Somehow he takes his experiences from life as a biker and puts you in his boots, seeing through his eyes as if they were your own. He writes songs about life, death, love, hate, honor, joy, sorrow, sex, drugs, whiskey and the idiocy of our government with words that ring with uncanny truth. If you've tired of the dumbing down of music and miss the kind of songs that moved you on the inside, Criminal History has what you've been looking for.
