Band Members:
Carl is the lead guitarist and lead vocals for Back in the Saddle. Carl has been playing music since the age of five. He started playing drums and moved on to playing banjo, guitar, and then lead guitar. He played country music with his father and his brother. Later Carl and brother Jim moved on to the rock n' roll scene. Carl and Jim played Top 40 rock for a few years until Carl decided to move into playing more classic rock. This made Carl a much better and more diverse player. However, Carl knew his roots were in country music and so he returned to country music. Now back with his brother Jim and nephew Jeremiah and a friend named Joe, Carl provides his musical talents to make one of the hottest country bands in the area.

When it comes to this man, there is nothing he can't do. Jim plays guitar, keyboards, harmonica, and even sings back-up/lead vocals. Jim's musical talent started at about the age of 12. He started playing in local honky-tonks with his father. Jim and Carl continued playing together in several bands after their father retired. Jim played country and then rock and now he is back to country. A short time after rock n' roll, Jim took up playing music in a different way. Jim became a disc jockey which allowed him to better see how different crowds reacted to different styles of music. Jim now is with Back in the Saddle and is enjoying the fun of playing live music again.

Adam is the drummer for Back in the Saddle. He has been playing music since he was about 7 years old beginning with them piano and eventually breaking into the drums with the school band. Adam has played with a few local groups during high school and college. One of these groups, Harvest Worship Band, a praise and worship band that travels around the Midwest leading music at church youth retreats and conventions, opened the door for him to play in several interesting venues including the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Country music was not on his list of favorite styles growing up, but he has recently taken a liking to it.

This man is the third generation of musicians in the Mager family. Jeremiah decided he wanted to take up playing music just like his father and his uncle. Jeremiah started playing bass when he was age 16. Jeremiah enjoys being able to go out and perform in front of crowds. He enjoys playing country music, bluegrass and classic rock.
