The Hellgrammites have played together for 8 years and are currently working on their 2nd CD. Their original music generally involves juvenile tunes about lesbian teachers, feminine hygiene, fetal alchohol babies, wacky wall walkers. etc. etc. They are starting to dip into political and social commentary a bit as well with new songs like My Dad's President and My Bitch is a Racist. Cover tunes include sped up versions of Snoopy vs. the Red Baron, The Monkees' Circle Sky, and Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now. The Hellgrammites deliver a fun, high energy show that is at the same time very unpretentious. They like to rock and they have Hell in their name so check them out. Adam Strausner--Angry man who plays guitar and sings Mike Wilkins--If he was gay and if he had a time machine he would go back to the 1970s and sleep with The Clash but now he plays guitar and sings Mike Johnson--Nice guy but we think some women did him wrong in the past. He plays bass and sings demented songs Sam Cathey--loves drums and COWBELL but still wants to kill millions of people
