Description:
THE CREED TRIBUTE BAND!!!!!!!!!!

Band Bio

Founded in early 2002 the band MY OWN PRISON consist of four talented musicians who bring over 20yrs of musicianship each to the stage and who’s musical styling have brought them together for one cause, to pay Tribute to rocks #1, most enigmatic band,,, CREED.

The band My Own Prison has so championed the music & the messages of unity & understanding of CREED in that the fans are treated not only to the sonic tapestry of CREED, but to THE CREED SHOW at it's most intimate level. This has quickly led them to develop a very loyal following through out the U.S. Midwest. The loyalty is mutual in this spectacular and most earnest tribute to CREED.

The edgy guitars of Mike Murphy (The Simpletons, After Never) echo the raw tones of Mark Tremonti's Guitar as the rhythm section is held stern and solid by dead on Drummer Dan Walters (S&M, Stop The Messenger)and New bassist Marty Feipel (sigh'd one) plays note for note and delivers with pure intensity!!

The band and audiences are then led through the melodic vocal paintings of a CREED performance by New Front man Steve Ores (Stone-Groove ) whose thrilling vocal tones and stage mannerisms blend to express the soul intent of both Scott Stapp's range and performance bringing an evening of CREED at its finest.

MY OWN PRISON doesn't stop at their front door; Having appeared on Television, Radio and Printed Media the band attempts to schedule all requests regardless of distance or weather, and has proven their conviction from Minnesota to Louisiana CREED fans by delivering powerful, dynamic shows unequalled at every turn.

ALTERBRIDGE

Fan Reviews

Daniel W. WOW, is all i have to say. i went to the show wondering if this would be another version of creed without scott stapp..being in a CREED TRIBUTE BAND called MY OWN PRISON i have become almost blind to any other music besides creed..so i went to the show cuz i won ticket from a radio staion and an autographed cd.. i could tell that this was going to be something good because the place was absolutley packed, i looked up and in the balcony i see some members of DISTURBED..so then i knew they were there for one reason to see ALTERBRIDGE. both opening acts were awesome even though i never heard of them..but when alterbridge took the stage, i went into a weird type of trance. the music flowed through my body like no other...i cannot believe how tight and perfect these guys played, the crowd at one point sang louder than the band was playing in "open your eys" the place was totally getting into them, i could tell they were having a blast and happy. it was good to see brian again, and the new singer has a range like no other..i cant wait to do some of the songs from the album, but then again..they are NOT creed..i think they are better!!!!!! and happier now!!! i plan on driving to another state to see them soon.....thanks

Our return to Stumble Inn was a GREAT SUCCESS!!!!! We THANK Chris Cassidy for coming out and playing with us in our time of need. Job well done Chris! The place was packed as usual. As our night came to a close traditionally Kennedy came on stage and rocked the crowd with "My Sacrifice"!!!!!! Everyone was rockin along with us as usual. Continue to check the website for a return to Stumble Inn. We would like to thank Michelle for showing us a good time.

What a great time it was in Louisville Kentucky and really an interesting city. The stop to see old friends in Evansville the night before was the best. Closing the bars and a 3am cruise on the Ohio River was too much fun! Thanks Rhonda & Kendall. Ed @Moore Music for the BASS checkup, that readjustment was perfect. The sound on the Rooftop Garden was HUGE as the Phoenix Hill Tavern hosted three bands in different areas simultaneously, Slick Andrews & His Crooked River Playboys with great Rock-a-Billy in the TapRoom and Powertrip downstairs playing favorite covers in The Saloon.
