Band Members:
Vertigo started in part by accident. Brothers Adam and Tyler Spaletta had been playing together for a few years, both playing in two bands (Adamswood Drive and Common Tragedy) before coming across the bass skills of David Vanoli. Adam, Tyler, and David all attended high school together, forming Vertigo in late August, 2003. Their first performance was All Hallow’s Concert, a rock concert designed to bring together ‘up-and-coming’ rock bands. They received acclaim from the very beginning. Adam has been playing guitar for eight years, receiving a three quarter size, nylon stringed guitar for his tenth birthday. Taking lessons sporadically for a total of about eight months, Adam has been able to bring the nineties grunge rock to the forefront of his technique, adding his own flare of new age musicianship and angst-ridden ingenuity. Tyler has been playing drums for more than four years, bringing his free-spirited, punk rock heart to the table. However, with influences such as Danny Carey (Tool) and Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle), Tyler adds a unique, artistic blast of energy to every performance. David is a true bass man, never actually taking formal lessons. However, his father’s brilliance as a musician obviously rubbed off on him, as David is continuously adding intricate and innovative licks to his repertoire. Together, Adam, Tyler, and David are a true rock talent that is on the verge of breaking out big time.
