Description:
Originally formed in late 2000, rounding 3rd produces an impressive mix of punk, indie, emo and alternative rock. The bands driving rhythm section paves the way for it's vocal harmonies to travel on while it's lead guitar builds the landscape. Frontman Daniel VanKirk's intelligent, poetic lyrics will grow on you and wrap themselves around any listeners' heart and mind like vines. rounding 3rd has set out to spark emotion in it's listeners with it's time changes and chord progressions that convey the feeling and overtone of thier songs. The band drives this feeling home with it's high-energy, break-neck live performance and stage presence that takes it's audiences by storm.
After performing at the Millenium Music Conference 7 Showcase in early 2003, rounding 3rd has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with artists such as the Julianna Theory, Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, RX Bandits, Lucky Boys Confusion, the Toasters, Audio Karate, Off By One, the Berlin Project, Dexter Danger, Blueprint 76, and many more.
rounding 3rd recently began a national radio campaign with it's release "everything i would say...", and is currently getting airplay at over 360 stations nationwide and in Canada.
