The bands sole purpose is to write, record and perform music that is unconcerned with current trends in the music industry and to write music that is true to themselves like the legendary metal bands that preceded them. Manticore is influenced by bands such as High on Fire, Isis, Slayer, Lamb of God, Crowbar, Mastodon, Black Sabbath, and more. Manticore’s music is driven by drowning waves of powerful riffs, low-end thunder, and brutally intense vocals.
