Description:
One For The Road is a Classic Rock Band formed together by good friends and former band mates. We had played together for many years and due to unforeseen events, had to retire the band, never losing a beat to our friendships that have continued throughout the years. To our very good fortune, the Rock Gods felt this band needed to reunite and here we are, stronger, tighter and hungry to show everyone what we are - a true Classic Rock Band. Get ready - One For The Road is here and ready to show you what we are all about.
Band Members:
Members: Ray (bass) - Ray is a very multi-talented musician. Not only does he play bass, but he plays guitar, sings, and plays many other instruments with exceptional talent. Ray has been playing bass guitar since he was 14. Favorite music - bluegrass, country, rock, metal. Comes from a long line of very talented musicians. Les (drums) - Les has been playing drums since he was 5 yrs old. Has played in rock and country bands as well as orchestras. Les loves all types of music. His biggest influences are his father and uncles who also played drums in drum and bugle corps. His favorite drummer is Neil Peart. Brian (guitar) - Brian has been playing guitar since he was 13 and started playing in bands at the age of 16. Brians' music interests are Classic Rock, Blues and Classical. His biggest influences are his former guitar teachers, Jim Filgate (Cast of Beatlemania) and Roger Filgate (Wishbone Ash), as well as Jimmy Paige, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton. Rebecca (vocals) - Rebecca has been singing since elementary school (chorus). Her singing influences are Janis Joplin, Ann Wilson as well as all female rock artists. Rebecca has sung in a band for the past 6 years and loves getting the audience going.
