Description:
This indie sensation consists of two and sometimes three members. Instruments include two guitars, a tamborine, and a percussion instrument depending on the venue's style. Vocals are sung by both a male and female. Cailins rich thick alto voice snd Stevens strong tenor sound create tightly woven harmonies that are sure to please listeners. Their music has been described as playful but deeply moving. Great indie vibes come with their music and lyrics. The band is currently in the process of recording their first EP.
Band Members:
Steven Lane has been playing the guitar ever since middle school. During highschool he was lead singer and guitar player for "The Ape Invaders" whose resume includes opening for Sister Hazel at Slauce Furnace and particpating in the Birmingham Museum's music competition where they took first place. Through his highschool experience he also picked up musical skills on the piano and mandolin. As a young artist he continues to work hard and perform wherever he can.
Cailin Thomas has always been involved in the arts. First an avid theater performer, she took voice lessons for 7 years while performing regional theater at The Virginia Samford Theater and The Birmingham Children's Theater. Throughout highschool she was on a competetive dance team that ranks among the top ten in the nation. Now she has turned her sights on the music industry. She is currently studying music theory in hopes to hone her skills onto piano and vocal performance.
