Description:
Chairenstain is composed of two members; Jordan Passmore, who handles the writing, bass (guitar and keyboard), programming, and some vocals, and Nadia Ayala, who sings, does keyboards, and makes sure Chairenstain doesn't lose all its money and plays shows. Chairenstain has been a band for a little less than a year now, but the music started about 2 years ago with Jordan Passmore, a bass guitar, a drum machine, and some Casio keyboards. Now the two use a barrage of synths, computers, and a bass guitar. The music is a mix of dance, techno, and electro, mixing drum machines ala pop composition with a dance synth tinge. Influences vary from genres such as early rap, post-punk, and 80's electro-pop. The two perform semi-regularly around Vegas.
