Description:
Even though Elenor has only been a band for a year, there has been more member switches, instrument changing, and activity then most bands have in their entire existence. When Jacob Seaton and Sonny Moy decided to start a project, it started as many bands do, with a guitarist and bassist. Jacob on guitar and Sonny on his native instrument, the bass. After recruiting Casey Keyworth on keys and Beni Rose on drums, the band seemed to be pulling itself together. That was until the first band practice. After Beni showed up with both a bass and guitar, everyone settled to an instrument. Jacob on drums, Casey on keys, Sonny on guitar, and Beni on bass. "We still have no idea how we got this way..." says Beni Rose, "...but it just seemed to fit!" Soon Beni recruited his friend Derek Bowles to fill the second guitar position. After a few practices the band had built together something to present at their first show, which was a battle of the bands. Needless to say, they won. After many months of shows and maturing, Derek soon left the band as did Casey. After their departure, the bands music slowly went into different directions. Gradually becoming what you know now as to be Elenor. All along, staying a three piece, in search of one more member. After months and waiting for that perfect connection, Bryce Roszell, a long friend of Elenor's filled the spot as the second guitarist to finalizing the Elenor line-up.
There have been many that have labeled our music with different genres, such as indie rock, rock and roll, and/or emo. Elenor is booming and powerful. Between driving bass lines, an emotional rhythm, a solid drum beat, and a bright vocal melody, there is structure and beauty. Elenor is more then just your average rock band. Elenor is true passion, shown at its best.
