Description:
Phoenix Radio is a local band out of the metro detroit area, influinced by anything from my chemical romance and avenged sevenfold to primus and the red hot chili peppers. always looking for new places to play for anyone who is willing to listen. you can check us out at www.purevolume.com/phoenixradio. we have a 4 track demo recorded and will send it out to anyone who wants to hear it.

Band Members:
Vocalist Todd O'brien is an outgoing preson who isnt afriad of anyhting and is always ready to play. Lead gutiarist Drew Okla makes up for his lack in age with his fast paced, hard hitting riffs. Rythm gutiarist Nick Mallory indulges in harmonies with drew in many songs, showing his own playing talent. Bassist Matt LaFleur keeps the rock going with origonal basslines, combining slap, funk and hardcore rock all into one. Drummer Mike Birchler is influenced by his classic 80's bands and throws his own modern spin on things with quick fills and double bass beats. The guys of phoenix radio are always looking for a place to play and people to please with the hardcore indie sound they play.

“The B FAM JAM” Five Decades of Rock n’ Roll

For the first time ever five bands, each featuring members of the amazingly musical Birchler family, share the stage for an historic concert event.

7pm – Phoenix Radio - Driven by the relentless power of drummer Mike Birchler, Phoenix Radio creates an uncommon commotion with their set of all original screamo rock.

8pm – The New Overdays - Rising from the ashes of the fabled Moose Whampler and the Overdays is a reconstituted and more potent dose of 50's Rock n' Roll featuring the high-octane antics of greaser front men Jim Birchler and Shawn Riley.

9pm - THE B BROS - Trading diaper changes for chord changes, the five Birchler brothers reunite to perform a show of all original music sung in their "choir boys with loud guitars" style.

10pm - THE PAISLEY FOGG - The psychedelic experience without the brain damage courtesy of Dave, Keith and Tom Birchler’s fab 60's mix featuring special guests Pam Tramck and John "Brojo" Birchler.

11pm – Full Tilt - Fueled by Mark Warren's blazing "Marshall on 11" guitar grind, Full Tilt blasts thru the 80's and 90's to detonate a fun grenade right in your face.

MIDNIGHT - JOHNNIE'S JAMMIES - There’s a rockin' house party and everybody's invited to this no chords barred jam session lead by the endlessly energetic John Telford.

This Birchlerpalooza will be more fun than a barrel of funky monkeys. So let's all kick old man winter’s butt and give sweet spring a big wet kiss.
