Description:
Central Plains is a lyrical and production duo out of Virginia Beach, VA. Labelled a "hip hop" group, CP brings a lot more to the table than one might consider of an average hip hop offering. Thought inspired lyrics lay on top of genre blending beats that appeal to anyone with a musical ear and thirst for poetics as well as wit. With the help of outside production rooted in very unique musical influences, the final result when combined with CP’s lyrics is truly something unique.
Band Members:
Irish and Rogi, who make up CP, have known eachother for 14 years and been best friends the majority of it. Through trials and tribulations, ups and downs and life in general the two emcees found a mutual love for music and desire to express and share their young but well weathered 23-year-old perspectives of life, love and what it takes to get by. At heart though, Central Plains is just two young kids who are living and loving ontop of some seriously inspired beats and melodies.
