Description:
The music of TRIPWIRE combines the new age metal sound with a touch of hardcore rap. With simple bass, distorted guitar riffs, creative drum beats, and the emotions that Joel expresses through his lyrics, makes them stand out in the local band scene. You never know what to expect when seeing a live show. Whether it's green hair, masks, fake blood, stage props, painted faces, or stockings over their heads, this band puts on one of the best local shows in their area. There is so much energy on stage that you can't help but move around or jump into the mosh pit.
Band Members:
Joel (22) vocals, spends most of his time listening to music and playing video games (PS2), skateboarding at skateparks, drinking, partying, and getting high with his buds. Most of the time he's laid back, but you probably wouldn't know it if you seen him on stage. Likes hiding out in the croud until it's time to perform. Likes having lots of friends. That's about all we got from him before he puked.
Josh(22)guitar, enjoys long walks on the beach, candle-light dinners, and is not a doctor but he plays one on TV. He spends most of his time thinking about the chicken-fried steak breakfast with an order of mozzarella sticks and don't you forget the marinara. He thinks Arrowhead Restaraunt at the Hampshire truck-stop is the shizzle forizzle, especially after a night of Jack & Cokes.
Derek (22) bass, has been a long-time friend of the band and has been to most of their shows. He joined the band early in 2004. He spends most of his time working and is getting tired of it, so he is hoping for an opportunity to let out some frustration and get the crowd moving.
Nick (20)drums, was one of the original members of the band, but had to move to Green Bay as the band was just gaining momentum. He re-joined the band in the summer of 2003, and moved in with Josh in the boon-fucks. Right now he's working and going to college full-time. With the free time he has, he bugs the rest of the band to buy him alcohol.
