Description:
The history of Bleeding Black is riddled with just as many trials and tribulations as any band. Several line up changes and name changes later we are still here naturally developing into a uncontrollable monster. Originally Bleeding Black started out as one of Cheyenne's only Thrash metal band Bonesaw in the winter of 2001, which was created by lead vocalist Ian Slutzky and bass player/backing vocalist Rueben Sandoval and there hatred for anything society driven. Although Bonesaw was well known in the smaller circles, it was basically dead before it started with hardly anything written. Everyone pretty much went there own way and acheived what they wanted to do musically and professionally. Soon in the spring of 2003 former bass player and backing vocalist Rueben Sandoval dropped the bass and picked up the mic and then contacted former guitarist Chris Hay and began writing for a new project. This project was called Black Blood. Soon guitarist Brad Finnerty and Kalishnikov (former Bonesaw vocalist) joined in on the lead guitar and bass, respectively. This was a whole different monster. It was more brutal, more dark and everything that each memeber wanted it to be. There was only on x-factor we had no drummer. Soon we enlisted the help of drummer Mason Rivera for the position. He brought a whole new element and completed the line-up. No sooner then Mason joined the band we hit another bump in the road. Our name that we worked so hard to promote was already taken. Once again we started over, with new material, a new line-up and a new name. This new creation would be dubbed Bleeding Black. Now we are writing more then ever. Dividing the lines between politcal correctness and what we believe is prue aggressive, extreme metal. We demolish anyone standing in our path and defy anyone who doesn't believe!!!

HAILS!!!

4/8: So I realized that I do not update this thing often enough. Apparently there are still people who look at this thing because we have still been getting e-mails. Those are always cool. I will try to update here more often.

So the update...Myself (Rueben; Bass and Lead Vocals) and Chris Hay (Guitarist and Backing Vocalist are the only two persons left in the band. Mason has left to presue of ambitions, which we support 100%. Ian Slutzky has left to dedicate 100% of his time to his main band Kalishnakov because they are starting to pick up alot of attention from various media outlets. Don't fret though Bleeding Black is still going to continue. We are still writing and pursuing the release of the EP, which has been re-titled "Corpus Malefincentia" (Body of Evil Doing). The tracklisting and cover will be made available soon on the band's offical website (www.geocities.com/blackestbrood). When the EP will be released is still up in the air. We want to find a drummer before we attempt to record the EP.

With that being said, Cheyenne extreme metal band, BLEEDING BLACK, is looking for a permanent drummer and second guitarist. This person must meet the following criteria: - Live in the Cheyenne/Northern Colorado area and willing to commute - Must have own equipment - Must be dedicated to the band and make all practices and gigs - Willing to write and bring there own style to the band - Experiance is prefered For all serious inquires please e-mail us at: blackestbrood@yahoo.com. SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY.

1/6: About damn time we updated again. Ok, we have been having alot going on in the BLEEDING BLACK camp. First of we have the guitars and bass recorded and getting cleaned up. We should have the drums recorded soon and then finally the vocals. We are very excited by this fact. Also, THE WHORE is no long going to be on the EP. Instead it will be a two song EP or it will have "WHEN YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES IS IT HELL YOU SEE" as the third and final track, depending on if we can get everything recorded and done on time. Next, the cover for the Demonic Genocide EP is almost done and the cover art should appear pretty soon on this site. The cover are was done by CALIGAR and the logo was done by yours truely. We are very excited were everything is going and we hope to have the EP out by the end of January or the begining of Febuary, again depending on alot of different things. Once again the EP will be free to all and we will send it virtually anywhere for free! No charge to you at all. We will only have about 200 copies available and as soon as those are gone we will have no more and you will have to wait for the full length. Hails.

12/13: Let's see, oh yeah Bleeding Black has a page on Local Band Network. We are one of the few registered names from cheyenne so we shouldn't be that hard to find. Go to it, check it, support us. We are coming to the point of finalizing all songs on the Demonic Genocide EP for the recording which will take place a week from now and will last for two weeks. We have to recording studios (so to say) that we are considering going to, the first is co-runner of Spinal Chord Production, Josh Mann. The second Mike Shaiffer who so graciously offered to record our album too. We will find out who we want when the time comes. After that it will be a few weeks to do all the post production and we are looking for a release sometime after Martin Luther King Weekend, probably late June. We won't be doing much tour support for this demo we are saving it up for the full length that will be released sometime in the early summer. After that we are talking with several people to get a small tour going (most likely, Salt Lake City, Cheyenne, North Platte, Fort Collins, Denver, Colorado Springs and Alberqurque). As more information becomes available we will let you all know on our site first.
