Less Than Perfect

Back in 2002, LTP was no more, than a few school mates getting together and hitting our a few tunes. At the time we were known as "Out of the Ordinary" which we soon threw out the window a few months later. Brendan, having played guitar for nearly 13 years was the founding memer of this soon to become band.

Ryan and and myself (brendan) had been mates since we were about 11yrs old, and after i had moved school's to PAC in penrith which ryan was currently attending we both found a passion in music. Finding another guitarist was not that hard, Scott also had played guitar for many years and were studying music together. After realising that we all liked the same music...The band was formed.

We picked up the name "Unified" which we stuck with for quite some time but again was not our cup of tea. We began writting our own songs and playing regularly at school events. Friends and family had been telling us for some time now that we should do something with the band and record some of our songs. So we did...we recorded a demo cd at school with the music department. Only containg two original songs and one cover, we thought we'd see what the friends thought of the outcome.

The cd was a prety ruff job as we didn't really have the right facilities, from that point on we dedicated our spare time to devloping the band, trying to get a full set together and some studio time. Brendan picked up the current name "Less Than Perfect" which im pretty sure we are sticking with as no one has yet to deny it.

Nadia, a fellow class mate was also interested in band advertising and when heard of us forming a band, has given us alot of feed back and got us our first public gig at Manly. Gotta love ya Nadia!!

Till this day we are still developing as a band and are pondering over getting a drummer. But are still young and have alot of time to get ouselves together and see how far we can actually go with the band.

So keep an eye out for LTP in the future. We'll be trying to get as many gigs as possible and hope for the best.
