Description:
Notice as we've decided to name ourselves came about and when Guitarist Blake Russell and Drummer Stew Hazenfield got together with Chris Hill, bassist of Capulet, at Blake's house to jam out some of the material Blake had written. As time passed Blake and Stew worked more and more on the material Blake wrote until they finally had 3 songs up to par, however it was just the two of them.
The two musicians continued to chip away at their songs and luckily a good friend Kevin Parrott came along and brought with him the low end of the mix. The trio kept practicing and writing until luck came their way again. Stew purchased a digital recorder and the trio began recording their songs with the time they had to spare. Over the next month two songs were recorded and cut to a few discs, but these were not for sale. The discs were used to introduce the unique sound of Notice to musicians.
A semester came and went while the trio continued to write and practice, and the following summer became a time of great development in the band. Recording resumed, practices tightened, and another musician joined the group. After self-recording their 6 song disc, Kevin switching to guitar, and welcoming bassist Logan Burkhart, the band had the members, the sound, and the drive to get their music out to the Knoxville Area.
