Music types: Metal, Reggae
Description:
Moonshine combines Metal with Reggae in a very original fashion. Very heavy, with alot of energy and presence. Fast Ska grooves, with metal break downs. We have played many parties, and several local venues including, The Mason Jar and The Big Fish Pub. We are currently being offered a distribution contract from and independent label in LA called Statue Records. We are looking for more shows and new venues to play.

Band Members:
Moonshine is: Hans Nieschulz- Vocals and Guitar Solos Steven Rimer- Guitar Charlie Shoemaker- Bass Erik Teichmamn Drums/ Percussion Cameron Lind- Guitar Moonshine was born in the valley of Phoenix during 2002-2004. During the Spring of 2002, Front man Hans Nieschulz becomes acquainted with bass master, Charlie shoemaker. In the time that followed, the two endured through several drummers, additional guitarists and a barrage of “want-to-join” members. The band was still maturing, still growing, searching for dedicated musicians who would strive for the goal. In their search they stumbled upon a phoenix native who had recently returned from the Far East. The dubbed “china” steve stepped on to the scene with screaming harmonics and a fame driven mind. Soon after the addition of Steve, Hans ran into former acquaintance, Eric Teichmamn. Eric was attending Glendale College pursuing a degree in jazz music. During the spring of 2003, Eric became a permanent addition to the band, fulfilling the spot of drummer. The four began to jam on a more regular basis. Hans Nieschulz began to compose original songs that the band would later perform at, Parties, The Mason Jar, and The Big Fish Pub. These small venues provided a means for local support, and public exposure. It had seemed that the band had reached its maximum growth, when yet another member was born. One of Hans’ childhood friends had made his return to the valley. As kids, Cameron Lind and Hans Nieschulz played in a three piece band during 6th and 7th grade. Though Cameron Moved to Michigan in the summer of 1997, the two began to grow musically in the same direction. Their friendship held through the years and shortly after Cameron’s return in July of 2004, Hans sacrificed his position as Lead guitarist so that Cameron could join the Band. Hans began to put more energy and emphasis on his singing/Screaming, while Cameron began to learn the songs. Moonshine stands alone with their combination of Reggae and Metal. These Musicians take Metal to a higher ground, with ska grooves, and death metal breakdowns. A vocal conglomeration of explosive screams, bass felt singing, and intense delivery. Moonshine is very popular with party goers, and can turn any house party into a pit of chaos, and send any club into roaring applause.
