Description:
Dirt was formed late in 1993 in Houston, Texas by founding member and Bassist Rick Wiggins.Ater many years of hard work and good times Dirt started to really pull together and gain a great following. With the release of ....From Dirt We Come, produced by Dez from Coal Chamber (now DEVIL DRIVER) the band gained national notoriety and set off to tour the continental US. Touring with the likes of Pissing Razors, Deep, Dog Fashion Disco, Oppressor, and Malevolent Creation. Dirt also got to mix it up with members of Fear Factory, Coal Chamber, Devil Driver, Pantera, Cypress Hill, God Forbid, Nevermore, and Iron Maiden, amongst many others. After a year of constant touring and receiving great fan support across the country Dirt came in from life on the road to start work on their second release. Over the last year Dirt has gone through some drastic line up changes. As we said Dirt is currently in the studio working on the second release.Tenatively called "ASHES TO ASHES" after its release Dirt plans to hit the road once again to do what we love the most, playing live, meeting all of our fans and friends, and giving power to the pit!
Band Members:
Founding member and bassist Rick Wiggins has stepped up to take over vocals while still maintaining that raw thunderous bass sound that drives Dirt. Next to show up on top of the Dirt pile was Kris Ardolino plowing through the guitar and bass with a blistering thunderous drum sound, on a magnificent monstrosity of a drumkit.Kris brings an east coast speed/metal/thrash/groove element that's destined to crack some pavement. Bryan S. joined the line up with more guitar mayhem and madness to power that heavy sound straight from the underground.
