Description:
Hovering in the home base of the thriving Lafayette, Louisiana rock/garage scene, the Transmission radiates a fusion of danceable rock, snotty punk, and vintage sounds reminiscent of earlier retro-futurist groups. Their sound could easily be a soundtrack to the early lowbrow sci-fi and horror b-movies of the 50's & 60's that they are greatly influenced by. Descirbed as a "Synth/sci fi/freak out" band from the growing number of earthlings, the Tranmission in just a few months of gigging have grown to be one of Lafayette's most entertaining original acts.
