Description:
The TrashT saga began innocently enough some time ago with two brothers – Paul and Nate Hixson. Paul played guitar and sang, and Nate sang and played the drums. They had a dream of music, which they wanted to share with the world. They had some original music in the infant stage but they needed more.
Paul had been playing in a cover band with a singer and front man - Tod Heiss. They asked him to join and he said “hell yeah!” His lyrical prowess brought words and meaning to the hard thumping sound of TrashT.
Then Paul and Nate approached Sammy LaRux, a local bass player and singer. He said a resounding “hell yeah!” (Before he’d even listened to any of the material at all), and that rounded out the total sound of TrashT.
In turn, Tod brought to the fold Pat, as another guitar player. He gave another ‘edge’ to the music. And life was good.
Then one morning, sitting on the steps of the recording studio in a fog laden, drunken stupor from the night before was Dave. Hence, Dave the Damn Roadie was born.
Pat left TrashT at the end of summer 2002, and wasn't replaced until November 2004 when The Wizard himself, Rick Willard joined the band.
TrashT has become a band that always impresses those lucky enough to see them live. But, adding Rick to the lineup changed the live show to a powerhouse of sound that will rock your ass off !! TrashT ...... remember the name, soon you will
