Description:
BADDOGS is a male 4-piece variety band based on the Western side of the Front Range of Colorado. Originated in 2003 in Florissant, Colorado as an acoustic duo by lead vocalists/guitarists, Dave German & Rich Currier, the band expanded i 2004 to now include bass guitarist, Gary Pfalzbot and drummer, William Lockard.
If you liked the tight harmonies and friendly attitude of the duo, you will love the full, rich sound of the full band. Moving easily from Country to Rock to Folk and their Originals, BADDOGS is continually proving that sometimes its good to be bad! Their second CD is due for release sometime around Labor Day 2004. Band Members:
Lead vocalist/guitarist and songwriter, Dave German, is co-founder of BADDOGS. He is a very seasoned musician who has such credits to his name as playing with Rusty Young, Cher, Glen Campbell and others in the early 60's and with his band Westwood in Germany for several years before moving back to Colorado to settle near Colorado Springs in Divide. Although he's played nearly every style of music, he leans toward Country and Rock. Dave also plays the Dobro.
Lead vocalist/guitarist and songwriter, Rich Currier, is Dave's partner in BADDOGS. He played in several rock, acoustic and jazz bands in his long musical history and has more of a jazzy style than Dave. His style preferences lie in Acoustic Folk, Blues and Jazz. Rich also plays the Pedal Steel.
Bass guitarist, Gary Pfalzbot is also a composer/songwriter. He hails originally from Southern California and has a long history of playing in Rock, Pop and Blues bands. His own band, Rizen Osiris, did well in California and Missouri, culminating in sharing a festival performance with Three Dog Night and CCR near Branson. Pfalzbot was one of the original 4 webmasters to offer indie musicians exposure on the web back i 1996 with his popular Music Monster Network. He is a true rocker at heart with Blues being his second favorite style of music. Gary also plays the guitar and keybords.
Drummer William Lockard also has a long history of involvement with bands. His most recent band was the popular VooDoo Hawks of Colorado Springs. Bill has a degree in Classical Guitar. His favorite styles are Country and Rock. Bill also plays the guitar and the bass.
