Minneapolis, MN- Candystore celebrate the release of their debut full length “This Is How Things Work” with a party and performance at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis on 05/01/04.

On May 1st Candystore will release their debut full length c/d entitled “This Is How Things Work” with a party and performance at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis. The C/D is the result of recording sessions in the fall of 2003 with producer/engineer Tom Garneau (Prince, Big Head Todd, REM) at Prairie Dog Productions and Audioactive. The C/D contains 11 tracks and clocks in at 39 minutes and 17 seconds. All tracks on “This Is How Things Work” were co-produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Tom Garneau and performed by Candystore with guest appearances by Tom Garneau on keys and Brad Rossiter (ex-Candystore) on backing vocals.

Watch for a track from “This Is How Things Work” on the compilation sampler “Hot Dish” which will be available for free at Cheapo locations.

Candystore will celebrate their c/d release party with two terrific local acts who both released their own very respectable C/D’s last year; Hi-Test (World Class Loser), and Kangaroo (Skyscraper Spaceship). It promises to be a fun filled evening.

Doors 8 pm 9:30 pm Kangaroo 10:30 pm Hi-Test 11:30 pm Candystore
