Circle of Silence

Circle of Silence got its start in September of 2003. Lead singer Sonny Batten heard guitarist Worm had left his previous band. They got together and agreed to create a new band. They brought in Jim Olsen on keyboards and Jonathon Mitchell on drums and Worm brought in bass player Ozzy from his old band. The band instantly clicked and started creating a unique sound. Their music incorporates as many different styles as possible in an effort to remain completely genreless. Their influences include Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Faith no More, Mushroomhead, the Melvins, and several others helping to create an original style of music containing “soul metal” and a unique sense of hip hop. The band has formed what they refer to as the “Silence Alliance”. They came together putting all of their creativity and wisdom towards creating a band that consists of loyalty, originality, motivation, drive, and love for their music as well as each other. C.O.S. feel confident the future will hold success, as well as respect and recognition from their growing number of fans. They have gotten this far by never being satisfied. During their live shows they deliver a unique sound that makes you feel fully in the moment.
