Introducing Mz Nokz - the beginning of a new breed of female Mcing. Nokz is 'bout to raise the bar with lyrics so ill they make ya head spin like the Exorcist. Nokz is a true MC with impressive word play and mechanics as well as her lyrical abilities. She's not just coming after the chicks in the game - She's coming after the dudes. The industry better watch out. Mz Nokz was born in Missouri, but represents North Carolina, where she was raised since age 10. Writing and music have always been the love of her life. (And yeah- she writes all her stuff!) In the latter part of 1998, Nokz found her way to the studio and began professionally recording after years of doing home demos on other rappers instrumentals and hasn't slowed down since. She has been on several independently released projects, such as The Alliance, End of Dayz, JonBlaQ's The Neva Ending Story, Kmac's Grand Opening, SoldierHard's Spirit of Pain, Win or Go Home Mixtape Vol. I to name a few, as well as her own debut solo album, Love me or Hate me, which dropped in October of 2006. Nokz started her own publishing company in 2002, (HerWerdz publishing, Ascap) and has been a member of Ascap since 2001. She has a good business sense, as well as an ear and talent to make great music. This talented MC has had many opportunities to show off her talent at local clubs and has had much internet exposure from Vjing at fasttracktofame.com, where her video clips were played on a regular basis as well as on the local tv channel, as well as being nominated for best hip hop solo female artist in 2004 on Music Hype Online and being selected to perform at Billboard's Hip Hop and R&B conference. Nokz has a sound and style that is all her own, while staying versitle and interesting, and at the same time, remaining true to herself and the hip hop music. The girl got skillz. Period. Don't let her looks fool you.
