Description:
Led by Boston are veteran blues harmonica player and vocalist Barbeque Bob, who has worked and/or toured with such greats as Sunnyland Slim, Louisiana Red, Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson, and Jimmy Rogers. The sound is basically 50's oriented Chicago and West Coast styled blues/jump/swing with a modern, harder edge. Bob has also recorded with Boston area locals Two Bones & A Pick, Rick Russell, Blues Express, and also plays harmonica on part of the soundtrack of the hit movie "Fried Green Tomatoes," and the soundtrack CD is available on the MCA label.
